Kathy Reichs

Kathy Reichs is a prominent American forensic anthropologist and author. Born on July 7, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, her fascination with science and anthropology led her to pursue an academic career culminating in a PhD in Physical Anthropology from Northwestern University.

Reichs' expertise in forensic anthropology became her life's work, and she went on to work as a professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and later at Concordia University in Montreal. Her exceptional skills in examining human remains contributed significantly to the field of forensic science, earning her recognition and respect among her peers.

Inspired by her professional experiences, Reichs channeled her passion for storytelling into writing. She is known for a series of novels featuring the compelling protagonist, Temperance Brennan, a forensic anthropologist.
